Hi,
I have Jira Software Cloud in Free Trial.
I wanted to connect ScriptRunner with IntelliJ and to do so, I should add a dark feature (scriptrunner.idea.external.editor.enabled), for which I didn't find a correct url. I've found <site.atlassian.com/secure/admin/SiteDarkFeatures!default>
<site.atlassian.com/secure/SiteDarkFeatures!default>
<site.atlassian.com/SiteDarkFeatures!default>
<site.atlassian.com/admin/SiteDarkFeatures!default>
And while the others return 404, the last one brings me to the admin page, but it's blank page with the administration sidebar.
Hi Roberto,
Thank you for your question.
I can confirm that currently, it is not possible to make ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud integrate with an IDE such as IntelliJ, as Atlassian does not provide the API's or integration points inside of Jira cloud to allow us to provide this.
I can also confirm that the documentation page that you have been referring to is for ScriptRunner for Jira Server and this is why it will not work with Jira Cloud.
You can see further information on the differences between the cloud and server versions of ScriptRunner inside of the documentation pages located here.
If this response has answered your question can you please mark it as accepted so that other users can see it is correct when searching for similar answers.

Kristian
Does that mean that I must use the browser console for ScriptRunner? If so, I've seen videos that show code completion for that console, but I'm not seeing it in mine. Is it because of Jira Cloud?

Hi Roberto,
Thank you for your response.
Yes I can confirm that this means that you will only be able to create your scripts using the browser console in *ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud* and that *ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud* does not have code completion as only the server version currently provides this.

Kristian
