I am our account owner, the project owner & admin, and the board owner/admin, yet when I try to look at the board in question I get:
This page is only available to JIRA Software users. If you think you should be a JIRA Software user, you should ask your administrator to give you application access to JIRA Software.
When I try to create a new board, I get an alert box that says:
You currently don't have access to perform this operation
In the background. Then as I try to create the new board, I get
The Jira server was contacted but has returned an error response. We are unsure of the result of this operation.
My team can view the board, so I know everything is still there, but I cannot see or admin it.
So after tweaking with this and having no luck, it randomly started working. Quite literally, after having no luck and walking away for a period of time, I came back, refreshed, and it all worked again.

Regarding the first issue my guess...
the board has been shared w/ only the "Jira software users" group. To gain access add yourself to that group and try again.

Hi if you access to this URL can you view your organization?
If so,
1.- has your organization access to Jira Software?
2.- In the URL I provided you, under 'Manage User' >> Find you username >> click 'Show details' link >> Have your user access to Jira software?
