Capacity tracking in Jira without an outside app

Does anyone know if Jira is planning to incorporate capacity tracking within a single project? Without paying for an outside app? I'm using Capacity Tracker and it works great but don't really want to pay for it. 

I'm aware of capacity tracking in Advanced Roadmaps but am looking for something at the single project level.

I'd be doubtful of any plans like this unless you specifically see it mentioned in an atlassian roadmap article/post.
