I created a story on 2020-07-10 and logged 18 hours on 07/10, 06 hours on 07/11 and 5 hours on 07/13.
I wrote a query like project = ABC and worklogdate <= 2020-07-12 and worklogdate >= 2020-07-18. I could see this story in the query result but in the column TIME SPENTI see the value as 29 hours (instead of 5 hours) and SIGMA TIME SPENT also showing the same 29 hours.
How can I get the correct TIME SPENT value for 07/13 alone.

Nazeer.
JQL is for finding issues, not reporting on them. Reporting is the job of the report that reads and displays the issues.
So, your query can be written in natural language as "Project = ABC and there has been time logged between these two dates".
The time spent on an issue is all of the logged work. That's it, it doesn't do anything else.
What you'll need to do is find an app that either
Have a look in the marketplace, focussing on timesheet or time logging apps, some of them can do one or both of those.
Hello @Nazeer
You can try Time between Statuses (server version).
This add-on calculates how long it takes an issue to move from one status to another. If I understand you correctly, this is actually what you need.
To set calculation you need to create status groups by choosing Start/Pause/Stop statuses through which issues have been moving in your workflow. So you can choose any start and stop statuses you want. These can be even the first and last statuses from the workflow.
You will get exactly those time spent data, which you have been searching for. You can also set up time limits with highlights.

Hi @Nazeer ,
I agree with the answer above, you need to find a plugin that fits those two criteria:
Tempo is widely used, maybe it can help your case. I believe it has a calendar view feature that shows the logged time on a specific day.
