Hi,
In our instance of JIRA, we have almost 700 custom fields. Most of them are duplicates.
Is there a way to make some clean-up, like migrating data from a custom field to another one?
If it's possible, is it possible without executing SQL code on the database?
Thanks,
Hi,
I don't think there is a way to do that since you can't edit custom field types or merge them into another.
The only way I can think of is directly on the database.
Be sure to have a backup of your instance and try it on a testing environment first, if you are doing this on the DB.
Hope this helps,
Marcus
