Change Licence type (Jira Server)

Hi,

I`ve bought Jira Software (Server) 10 Users: Starter License today(31/07/2019)

We use our own server but we installed Data Center Trial version.

Question is How to change type of licence or type of instalation?

Hi,

afaik the binaries for server & datacenter are the same. The additional DC functions (clustering etc.) are enabled by installing a DC license. So, as long as you have installed Jira Software server or datacenter you open up the application administration and paste your Jira Software license code to the Jira Software application configuration.

I tryed to paste server license, but got message:

The license could not be installed.
This license is not for the selected product. Please make sure that the license is for the selected product and contact Support if the issue continues.

I think because I have already DC License.
