Change commit issue ID after commit was made

A commit was made with the incorrect JIRA issue ID in the log. I tried to edit the log but got an error.

How can we change commit issue ID's?

My guess is that you can't unless Atlassian have enabled the pre-revprop-change post commit script

IF they have then take a look at this

Right. There's an outstanding feature request to have this enabled by default. Currently we are enabling it on request.

Hi Michael -- I see you took over my ticket and enabled this for us. Thanks for doing that. Unfortunately it seems that editing the log does not change the log message in fisheye and I am not finding a way to fix the issue where a wrong issue ID may have been entered on a commit.

After FishEye has indexed a particular commit, it doesn't re-read it from the repository again. You will need to ask Support to re-index the repository so that FishEye reads the fresh commit message.
