Change default field configuration scheme / bulk change field config scheme

Is it possible to change either the default field configuration scheme, or bulk-change the field configuration scheme for all projects?

We have a relatively large number of projects, and I'd like to change the field configuration scheme for all of them - the end goal being to change the field configuration for one issue type across all projects.

At the moment, the majority of projects do not have any field configuration scheme set, and I'm trying to avoid having to navigate to each project individually and set it.

Is there a handy "change this everywhere" option I'm missing?

I do not know of a way to do this in JIRA out of the box.

One way I have done it in the past was to use the JIR CLI (https://bobswift.atlassian.net/wiki/display/JCLI/Examples), see 549 and 554
