I have booked Atlassian on demand.
I have existing test cases, but cannot change the resolution of them. I tried to change the status, etc but nothing helped.
Can you please give me instructions how to change the resolution of a test case and bug?

To able to tell exactly we need to know the workflow and where in the that workflow are those test cases and bugs.
In theory you can change the Resolution using Edit if Resolution field is available on the Edit Screen and the test case or bug should is in closed.
So you can try that - make Resolution field available on Edit screen (if it is not already there) and perform edit once the bugs or testcases are not in closed state.
