Change the Project Key

Has anyone ever had a bad experience when changing a Project Key?

I understand that all previous issue will change with the new Project Key, but has anyone ever had anything break, or have lost data?

Anything to keep in mind?

I did this several times on Server and in Cloud and never have had any issues with it.

 I have never had issues for the most part either. A lot depends on how many issues you have. To me you should change the project key the sooner you can - meaning before there are a lot of issues that have been created. 

The potential problems come in if you have linked a lot of issues to issues in other projects or have moved issues from other projects into this one. The original and new keys are both tracked so that's the only place there really might be a problem. But even still, I have not really seen an issue with it.
