×Good morning everyone!
I am in the process of setting up some new projects in Jira, and did some preliminary testing in our sandbox environment first. In the sandbox, I am able to change the background of the company-managed project to either different colors, images, or uploading custom images. Absolutely fantastic! It helps me with differentiating the different projects quicker.
Unfortunately, this is not in production. I am able to change the color, but I do not get the option to select any images or upload images. Is this a push that hasn't happened to production, or am I missing a setting?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
This is probably due to the fact that a sandbox always receives any new features straight away, as it is always on the "Continuous" release track.
Check the Release Track option in Atlassian Administration of your instance. Is this set to "Continuous" or "Bundled"
If not, this feature could be rolling out.
You can always reach out to Atlassian Support
Thank you for the quick reply. I double checked our release tracks, and we have set as Continuous.

I verified that I am able to use custom images/uploads in both our production as well as our sandbox environments. Interestingly, not all of my projects allow me to change the project background, but to answer your question, I am able to see it in both environments.
I'd wait for an Atlassian person to respond here, because you're probably on the right path... it's just in the roll-out phase still.
