My company initially used Google Workspace integration to manage users in Jira. We merged with another company and have new email addresses. This has been ok because the google email addresses are forwarding to our new email addresses. However, that is due to stop very soon. In Jira, I'd like to change the users email addresses to their new ones, but it doesn't appear that I can. Regarding access for these users, I have an info box that states "Your site has Google Workspace integration enabled. change made here to a user in a group synchronized from Google Workspace will be overwritten the next time a sync runs." Any advice on how to fix this without creating all new accounts for these users?
I am guessing I need to disable the integration first, then update email addresses. However, the steps to disable the integration do not appear to be working for me. They're outlined here: https://support.atlassian.com/provisioning-users/docs/connect-to-g-suite/ They say to Navigate to Security > Identity providers and select your Google Workspace directory. However, I don't have those options. Perhaps I'm not at the highest level of administration to do this? I can't tell. There's nobody else left at my company that is an admin, so I'm lost on how to move forward and I am unable to log a ticket to support for help. I keep getting pushed to the Community forum.
