I've set up Jira and Confluence in the cloud.
If I am in Jira and click on the logo, it jumps to the URL: https://myproject.atlassian.net/jira, which leads to https://myproject.atlassian.net/jira/your-work.
If I am in Confluence and click on the logo, it jumps to https://myproject.atlassian.net/wiki, leading to https://myproject.atlassian.net/wiki/home.
That's all good.
However, if I click on the application switcher and click on Jira Software, it jumps to https://myproject.atlassian.net/secure/BrowseProjects.jspa?selectedProjectType=software, leading to https://myproject.atlassian.net/jira/projects?selectedProjectType=software instead of https://myproject.atlassian.net/jira/your-work.
Is there are a way to change that behavior? It should just jump to /jira/your-work.
I thought I could configure it through the Application Navigator, but I can change the defaults. If I hide the defaults and set my own, the new ones show up, but the defaults are still showing up, but they shouldn't if they are disabled.
Hello @sattler,
Thank you for reaching out to the Atlassian Community!
When it comes to the Switch to option, when clicking on the product, it will redirect to the Project’s page and shows only projects from that product.
There are no options to change that.
The logo will redirect based on Your Jira homepage (Profile picture > Personal settings).
The workaround for that, in case you are using Confluence and want to go back to Your work in Jira, is to add the URL on the Application Navigator. It will show under More on the Switch to…
Kind regards,
Angélica
Thank you, @Angélica Luz
I tried that, but it is not comfortable because there are 2 Jira and 2 Confluence links in the same menu.
I guess I will stick with it and hope there will be an update in the future.
