Choose the issue type by default

Hello, 

I have created many issue types for various boards and teams, I would need to know if it is possible to make the issue type of a particular board to be chosen by default in the create issue menu, because now the users have to choose the issue type every time and they might make mistakes and choose a wrong issue type for a particular board.

Yes, there is an option for choosing a default issue type for your project. This is tied to the issue type scheme of that project, which you can find in Settings -> Issue type schemes -> Project key of your project and then the Default Issue Type dropdown:

Thank you, but I meant a default issue type for each board.

In that case, it is not possible to have a default issue type showing for each board.
