I don't see how to enable sprints or backlog in the classic jira project. I have it on my older project, and when I share the settings, it doesn't seem to look the same.

When creating classic software projects select the "Scrum" template. It has the sprints and the backlog.

Hello Kyle,

Sprints and Backlog are artifacts of an agile board. Agile boards are not part of the project settings that are shared between projects. You will have to create a board for your project in order to get that functionality.

When you have the project issue list displayed, you should see a "Board" pull-down in the navigation pane on the left. If you pull that down you should see an option to "Create Board".

Let us know if you have additional questions.
