LS,
I have the issue, all closed / done items are each time in the new sprint. Also checked this document, the mapping is correct and checked: https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/closed-issues-are-automatically-included-in-the-sprints-when-creating-a-new-sprint/
Not sure what the issue could be. I hope some-one can help on this?
Jo
Hello,
Welcome to community :)
looks like all the checks are done as per the article : https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/closed-issues-are-automatically-included-in-the-sprints-when-creating-a-new-sprint/
Could you please also check your filter of the board if you have added any JQL to include these issues
If all god Request you to reach to support : https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ so that we can take access and directly check the issue
Thank You,
Prachi
Hi @Joël van Amerongen
Kindly share the details about the issue which are in the new sprint? Like the status + sprint fields and board config with column mapping as well

Hi @Joël van Amerongen ,
Can you share which items are being sent to backlog/new sprint (in which status are they)? Also, can you take a screenshot of how the board column <> status mapping looks?
Cheers,
Tobi
