Closing issues outside of planned sprint

We have a running 2-weeks active sprint with planned issues. When someone resolves any, it's performing as it should.

However, when someone runs out of tasks, they pick the top one from the unplanned in the Backlog. When they resolve it, the tasks disappear when you refresh. There's no way currently to see all tasks, closed during the same sprint time, but outside of the sprint scope.

Is that possible in some way? What is the preferred way to approach this problem?

thanks!

We use JIRA 7.12 server version.

We can generate this information, but only after we purchased the Adaptavist Scriptrunner add-on.

The JQL syntax is: issueFunction in addedAfterSprintStart("<Sprint Board Name>")

It's pretty sad if JIRA can't do it on its own. It's not feasible to pay $50/mo for this alone.
