Somebody told me, that the cloud to cloud migration in JIRA will be disabled soon.
I could not find any news about that in the internet.
So my question is, is it true that the cloud to cloud migration will be disabled soon?
Thank you
Hi @ro_axonfintech ,
Welcome to the community !!
As per latest update, Jira cloud-to-cloud migration (Migrate cloud site) was renamed to Copy product data.
Recent changes are described in https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-Cloud-Admins-articles/Jira-cloud-to-cloud-migration-is-getting-a-new-home/ba-p/2542627
Hi @Rilwan Ahmed

As of now, Atlassian hasn’t published anything confirming that cloud-to-cloud migration will be disabled. Their Cloud Migration Assistant tools are still available and supported — but there have been known limitations and delays with large or complex projects. If you are looking for cloud to cloud migration, consider the following points before you begin:
If you’re planning a Jira-to-Jira cloud migration and want more control over what gets moved, OpsHub Migration Manager (An Atlassian Partner) may be explored. It supports full-fidelity migration — including custom issue types, workflows, attachments, and history — without any disruption to your teams. Just connect the source and target instances, and let the platform handle the rest.

Welcome @ro_axonfintech
That is far from truth. I don't know who told you that, but that is false, epecially with the high investing in the cloud and pushing companies to migrate from data center to cloud. Not to mention the introduction of government and isolated cloud.
