Colours on items

Is it possible to add colour to the fonts for each item? this would be to easily differentiate them especially when the sub items are open

welcome to the community!

If you are open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, this feature is available in the app that my team is working on, JXL for Jira.

JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields. It also comes with a number of advanced features, including so-called conditional formatting. Put simply, you can define conditions on your issues, and if these conditions are met, colour them. 

This is how it looks in action:

(We'll add the capability to change the text color (not "just" the background color) in the next couple of days.)

There's much more to JXL - e.g., you can view your issues in hierarchy and calculate sum-ups, inline-edit your issues in bulk using copy/paste, etc.

You probably know that you can try every app for free for one months (and depending on the size of your site, it may be free forever), so perhaps give it a try and see if this works for you!
