Command line option to automatically update a JIRA

I want to update a JIRA description/comment or a tab without opening it from the command line. This will help scripts to upload/download data to and from a JIRA to say excel sheet.

Is there a way?

Hi @Sudeep Biswas 

Take a look at the Jira Command Line Interface app on the marketplace. It sounds like it would provide the features you are after.
