Comment box disappeared

In one of my Jira projects, the comment section does not have the box to allow me to comment. I have Dev user privilege for that project.

It could be that for this particular project you don't have the "Add Comments" permission.  You'll have to talk to your Jira administrator to sort that out.

The keyboard shortcut for Comment is M. What happens if you type M?

You might also want to clean our your browser cache. Sometimes "cache errors" manifest in a weird way :)
