Dear Sir/Madam,
we used to have the Commits tab with our BitBucket commits under the Actions section but now it's gone and we see the following message from time to time "JIRA is having difficulty contacting the applications that supply development status information. If this condition persists, please contact your JIRA administrators." Could you please advise how we can return the Commits tab back?
filed a support case, JST-91185
Looking at the chrome dev console, the dev status request isn't passing in an issue id, recreated in curl
$ curl 'https://ourinstance.atlassian.net/rest/dev-status/1.0/issue/summary?issueId=null&_=1394667167336' // cookies redacted {"errorMessages":["An invalid issue ID was provided: 'null'"],"errors":{}}
Thanks Ralph, we'll continue the work on the issue then and post the results at the end here. Cheers!

@Mauro, that's part of it, but the related issue is the the development section is erroring out for unexplained reasons. It works occassionally, but not all the time. Everything is on demand, so not sure what exactly I can do to address

The commits tab was replaced recently in OnDemand with the Development section on the right side of the issue view. Please take a look on this video to know how Development tools works now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70bOErojYJo
Also, the necessary access and how to enable/grant access to these features to your users can be found at Streamlining your development with JIRA OnDemand.
Cheers!
Mauro

I've been having the same issue intermittently. Did you get a response?
