Conditional fields without extensions?

Eduardo Busquets May 25, 2020

In a jira issue card, is there a way to create a field (or several) that are hidden or displayed depending on the value of another field? (without extensions)

For example a select list with two values.

Hi @Eduardo Busquets  for this you need to Script Runner plugin , in Script runner you can set field Behaviour accordingly.

eg :- https://library.adaptavist.com/entity/change-fields-requiredness-and-visibility-itsm

Hi @Vikrant Yadav . I am using Jira Cloud and the behaviours do not exist here.

I update with the script runner link where it says that the behaviors are not possible to implement in Jira Cloud.

http://scriptrunner-docs.connect.adaptavist.com/jiracloud/#_differences_to_scriptrunner_for_jira_server

I'm still looking for a solution...

Hi @Eduardo Busquets Cloud does not support Behaviours. You can not do this on Cloud.

Thanks,

Vikrant Yadav
