Hi, I updated Confluence to version 9.2.1 and have now the following message on some pages in Confluence.
How can I find out which app it was and what it was linked to?
When I then installed the Gadgets for Confluence app, it gave me the following error message.
We really need to find out how this works again or how I can get it working again.
Does anyone have the same problem and know a resolution?
Thanks and best regards, Vera
Regarding the question of finding the original gadget:
(cf. Marc - Devoteam's answer)
If you are the space admin you should be able to look at the 'View Storage Format' option of a Confluence Page from the Context ("three dots") menu.
Therein you can find the configuration tags, and usually an URL tag like:
<ac:parameter ac:name="url">https://jira.mydomain.com/rest/gadgets/1.0/g/com.atlassian.jira.gadgets:pie-chart-gadget/gadgets/piechart-gadget.xml</ac:parameter>
That might help in divining, which gadget had been placed there. (A Jira Pie Chart, in this example.)
Alternatively, the same info should be accessible by using one of the 'Source Editor' apps.
Hi @Vera_wyss
See this article from Atlasisan, gadgets-moved-to-a-marketplace-app-from-confluence-9-2-onwards
You can see which macros you will need to use, instead of gadgets.

HI @Vera_wyss
That I can't tell you.
It might be that the logs will tell you something.
I don't know of course if you had gone over the release notes before, then you would have known this.
But, Yes this is looking back on what you could have done to know this and taken action to note this down and the pages impacted.
