Contractor user accounts in my new Jira project

How do I add a set of contractors to my Jira Project? they do not have a local account with our company.  Do I need to do that

@Mark McFadden -

Welcome to the community.  You should be able to add users (outside of your company) for your Jira Software Application env.  A few key things that you need to be aware of:

1) Jira Software application users are required to have software license to your site.  So, it will be fee based and count against your subscription in the Cloud env.

2) You need to know how your company is controlling authentication against your site.  Therefore, you are not compromising your company's security and control.

Hey Mark,

There should be no conflict with you adding users outside of your organization, you can add users under Atlassian Admin, under user management, you may need to review both your user access settings, and your project's permission schemes to give the exact amount of access you want and ensure that another domain has been approved to add to your environment.
