Convert Estimated time to Story Point

Dear Atlassian community,

Our team decided to use Story Points (SP) instead of Estimated Time (ET).

For the new stories, all the estimation would be based on SP - no problems.

For the old stories, as we have a lot of stories to update, we would like to pre-update the estimate by automatically adding a SP based on the ET (e.g. 4h = 1SP).

Would you have any idea how can I do that automatically ?

Hi,

Maybe you could csv export and import for this. Search for all issues that has to be updated, and export them to csv.

Then edit the csv and add a column for the story points. This should be possible using a formula in MS Excel for example. 

Then you can re-import the csv. If you have the issue I'd in the csv, it will update the issues instead of creating new ones.

But be careful and create a backup before.
