Copied JIRA dashboard inherits same rich filter updates

Changing the rich filter on a copied Dashboard - seems it inherits the rich filter and jira filter from the copied dashboard. Does it only copy over the layout and gadgets. If you change the filters, the copied Dashboards inherits the same filters. Thought you could copy a Dashboard and then change the filters on the Copied Dashboard to only reflect on the newly copied dashboard. It seems to overwrite each other

Welcome to community. Copies tend to be exact copies and then you would change the underlying artifacts after. This is because without underlying artifacts, such as in this case filters, the copy would just be blank
