Copy/Paste not working in JIRA Cloud

Hi. I've seen instances of JIRA where you're able to copy/paste images into a ticket. However, on our instance it just does not work. Any suggestions? Is this a feature that needs to be enabled somewhere?

Reproduction steps 

I can confirm:

1. Create epic
2. Create child issues
3. Refresh page (or not, does not matter)
4. Middle click mouse to open child issue
5. Click description OR comment
6. Ctrl + V to paste content from clipboad

Result:

Does not work

Recovery steps:

Refresh page

Note:

If in step 4 user will use Ctrl + Left click, issue will NOT occur

Can you confirm if you are using the new issue view?

Since the new issue view is still a beta feature on JIRA, we are still working to implement some features, including the ability to copy/paste attachments directly from the issue view.

For this specific matter, we have a feature request created to track our developer's progress:

- Cmd+V doesn't paste attachments into issue view

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

For now, you can keep using the old issue view to copy and paste attachments directly. To turn off the new issue view:

- Click on your profile picture > Personal Settings

- Turn off the new issue view lab feature
