Copy of board doesn't follow scrum template

I've set up a new board with the Create with shared configuration option

and as template I've used a scrum board with a customised workflow schema. However, the new board doesn't share the same configuration as the one it was copied from and I've got no backlog, sprint option etc. so it's not set up as a scrum board. Any ideas why?

@Maria Engel I get the same behavior on Jira Server v7.8.1.

I do not experience this issue in Jira Server v7.8.2. Have you updated to the latest?

using cloud but found the issue was that there wasn't actually a board created in the project
