Copying boards and changing filter

Hi.

I am currently trying to add issues imported into jira, to a new scrum board. I copied a scrum board already created, but it also copied the component. I want it to be separate from each other. Is there a way i can have the other board without the issues? I have changed the board names, but the issues from the board i copied is all in there. I edited the filter and tried to change the component, but it keeps saying i do not have permission to do so even though i am a user.

I need to have the board ready by tonight, I am in a fix

Hi @Miss O ,

Each board is associated with a filter. After copying the board, you will have to modify the filter to associate it with a new project. So please ensure you have a new filters or modified filter for boards that points to different projects.
