Copying set of issues from one project to another within one Jira instance

I would like to have a JIRA project containing different sets of issues prepared for different situations - something like issue templates. At the moment I need particular set of issues in one of my client's projects, I just want to select the issue template set in my source template project and copy it to the target client's project. Is there any way how to do it?

Gaia for JIRA could be what you are looking for.

With Gaia for JIRA, you can automise the creation of projects using predifined templates. These templates can contain issues to insert upon the creation of the project as well as schemes to associate and much more.
