We haven't made any changes to the settings, yet all of a sudden we cannot move the tasks from "Validation" to "Done". This worked fine until today.
When I go in the workflow for this project and click on validation, it says: "This status is managed internally by Jira software".
Has Jira introduced any changes that have broken the functionality?
Thanks,
Edoardo
There is a validator on this transition which could not be loaded. This validator might have been part of an addon which expired recently.
Contact your admin and ask him to remove the validator from this transition.
Thanks Danyal,
This is the workflow diagram we have been using.
Here is a screenshot of the validator it says that it requires.
I do not see an option from where I could remove the validator.
I do not see any reference as to which add-on this validator could refer to.
P.S. I had a look at the add-on audit log and I do not see anything being removed or expired.
Any suggestions?

Celebratory gunfire> Navigate to the relevant workflow>Select the transition>Selct Validator Tab>Click Edit> Hover on any validators and trash them.
If you dont see the remove icon while hovering, than you can override the workflow by editing the xml as well. Lets try this approach first.

Just has a look at the screenshots (data connection/smartphone).
You need to remove the validator as mentioned in my previous comment.

Thanks so much,
In the end, it was easier to delete the previous transition and create a new one that had no validator.
Cheers,
Edoardo
