Hello, I recently received an email saying that I need to add payment details, even though I never activated Premium mode. I believe it was automatically enabled after one month of use. I do not want to switch to Premium, so I would like my subscription to be deactivated. I tried to do it myself, but it didn’t work. Please deactivate my subscription, as I do not wish to move to Premium mode.

With that said, if you have the necessary permissions you can change your subscription tier yourself by going to system settings > billing and click on Manage for the product(s) desired.

Eventually, any users from Atlassian community doesn't have access to any user instance.
If you want don't want to continue the license and want to discard the isntance as well - just don't add payment details.
If you want to have instance but not the premium - then visit admin.atlassian.com -> Billing -> Select the product -> Top - Change Plan -> Select Free.
Note: You've to make sure your active users are less than the FREE LIMIT. eg. 3 agent for JSM, 10 for Jira software.
