Hello @Jolanda Gillebaard,

As @Charly [DEISER] wrote below, https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/define-new-status-or-steps-in-jira-workflow-718835875.html?_ga=2.91303194.1687087546.1547994764-1571904512.1520954592 here you can find how to create/edit a workflow.

Then you can add column directly from your board as written here https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/configuring-columns-764477997.html

Let me know if this helps.

Best regards,

Jakub

Hi Jakub,

Thanks so much!

So now i have added a colom.
How can i change the status so the colom show on the Kanban Board?

Right now it says that it will not show on the board without a status.

Kind Regards,

You need to add these statuses into your workflow and then mapped these statuses into particular column.

Jolanda Gillebaard January 22, 2019

i am sorry, i have ZERO experience with this. Can you please explain another way? I can add the columns. They just dont show on my kanban board. It is unclear to me how i can show them on my Kanban board.

You need to edit your workflow,, which is used in your project. Go to Administration --> Issues --> Workflow and edit your workflow (add desired statuses). Then go back to the board and you will see this new statuses in "unmapped" section in the very-last column on the right. Drag these statuses into required columns.
