Create a custom swum lane in JiraCloud Company managed software project

I tried this but I see no way to add a Query based swimlane to my Board

You need to be a board administrator (or project administrator) to add a swim lane.  If you do not have privileges to administer the board, you cannot complete the first step under the heading To choose a different type of swimlane:

1. Go to your board, then select more () > Board settings.

If you are able to adjust the Board setting, make the adjustment under Swimlanes

I created the project, I am the lead and I have Administrator rights

But I don't see this when I got to Board [...] Configure board

The Board is Checked but I can' uncheck it from Project->Features

I never see that Settings menu

So I found a workaround... Custom Filters

• On the Board click the [...] three dots and select Configure Board
• In the left panel under Board, click Custom filters
• Then Create custom filter
• Return to the Project Board
• TaDa! Custom Filters v dropdown appears!
  • (Stupid progressive disclosure)

Now I can make my board display only the tickets I want
