Create a new issue by linking an issue

Hello everybody,

is it possible that when linking (e.g. linked Issues) a new issue is created, regardless of the problem type?

Hi @Sven.H,

Jira Issue linking allows you to create an association between two existing issues, and cannot link to the issue that does not exist.

But for a service desk or business projects only, you can create a new linked issue. For more details see Create a new linked issue from an existing issue in a service desk or business project
