Create a notice board

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to create a notice board in JIRA so that our users can update and put up notifications for outages, new fixes etc.

Just want to know whether anyone has done this before and how I can do it?

Jeff, what is your endgoal? It is a bit difficult to read from the question. Do you want the Jira end-users to see notifications from Jira about e.g. outages? Or something else? If it is notifications in Jira you have the Announcement Board you can use: System > User Interface > Announcement Banner

You can also add a text gadget to one or more of your dashboards. The text gadget us disabled by default due to an unresolved security vulnerability, but you can turn it on in the plugins administration panel if you feel it is suitable for your instance.
