Create a sub-task template

Hi,

I would like to create a sub-task template with some preset variables and some flexible input fields.

Is this something I can only do if I install one of the paid applications in Jira ir is this option available in standard configuration as well? I can't find it anywhere.

 I have  found a plugin that does exactly what u need:

Simple and straightforward, minimum intrusion. Highly recommended.
