I am trying to create below hierarchy in Jira using the Structure plugin
Epic
Story
Test cycle (Only the test CYCLES that cover the story)
Test cases (only the test CASES that cover the Story)
Underneath each story I want to see the test cycles that it was covered in and further drill down into each of these cycle should show the test cases in the cycle that covered that story.
I have tried the Traceability reports offered by Zephyr scale but they present this information by duplicating the Epic - Story hierarchy per test case/cycle. Using the Structure board I would like to achieve the grouping.
TIA
Hello @Manali Butey
Dionathan from ALM Works here.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to create this hierarchy within Structure.
Structure can only have Jira issues/fields, Jira links, Jira attributes, or Structure items(such as folders and Memo) (Please refer to this pages for more information: Link ), and the tests of this app are not Jira issues, they are custom objects that live outside Jira, so they can't be added to Structure. Sorry for any inconvenience.
If you have any more questions, let me know.
Best Regards,
Dionathan
Has there been any changes on this answer, to provide Structure access to Zephyr Scale Test Cycle and Test Cases ?
