Create overview/board, with list of "issues" from different "projects"

Neil Smith November 4, 2021

New beginner, so sorry if this is not explained well! I would like to create an overview of "issues" I have from different "projects" (or customers really), but I can not work out how to do this. When trying Kanban or Scrum boards, I can only see the option to select specific projects. I guess what I am trying to say is, I would like a "board/overview" where I can maybe drag and drop the issues from different projects which are important to me at the moment. Is this possible?

Any help appreciated.

Another question then please, which might solve this for me @Stuart Capel - London , can I make a dashboard/overview with only issues I am "watching"? Thanks for your help.

@Stuart Capel - London thanks for your reply. I can't imagine we don't have Premium, but I do not see a plans tab at all. Maybe I don't have permissions for this or?

You might need to ask your administrator to give you access. It's worth double checking you have premium as you need it for advanced Roadmaps.

Definitely be friends with your Jira admin :)

Hi @Neil Smith

If you're on Jira Software Premium then you have access to Advanced Roadmaps which allows you to bring in issues from any set of projects, boards or filters.

In the plans tab if you select new plan you can choose the projects you want to display issues from.

It will be all of them but there are a number of ways of restricting which ones come into your plan both before and after you've created it.
