there is an initiative where we trying to collect more data into datalake to able to process and use it easier to gain insight on business.
To do that we would like to create an account for jira with jira username -jadejira to act as the API login credentials
Ideally several people would be able to use this-so either via shared password or permission. The people that would be able to access it would be leon shen etc,,,
I would like it to have permission to see and access some project, storeis for jira....
I recived msg from client-we trying to use these account to access jira through API call.but it looks like username/password method are deprecated and we have to use a token...However,it seems the token generation is not enabled as we do not see this option in jira profile,or give us token that we can use to access jira api call?My doubt how can we create token in jira server....As I am jira admin, checked jira server ,don't have generate token option in jira server....is there any possible way to do API.
