Created new project from existing one, but I'm unable to edit the Assignee and Reporter fields

How can I make the Assignee and Reporter fields editable, showing me the list of people on the project I can enter into the field?

This is a company-managed project.

Hi @Steve Hooczko

Check the permission scheme on the project, which roles, groups users have edit permissions?

In the People section, if permissions are role based, are you listed and assigned the correct role?

The people section is not copied on creating a new project based on the existing one.

See what creating a project with shared configuration covers, here; https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/create-a-new-project/

Hi @Steve Hooczko ,

Please enter the project settings --> Screen schemes, open the corresponding Screen scheme, select the Screen associated to "Edit issue" and add the required fields to be edited.

It should works.

Regards
