Creating Custom Kanban Board Reports

Hello All -

I am trying to create custom repots on specific Kanban boards for my organization's leadership. Unfortunately, even though I am a board administrator, there are no options to create a custom report. The generic reports offered by Jira are lackluster. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
