I know I can select the "Share settings with an existing project" when creating a new project but that doesn't do everything I want.
Basically I have a project set up with a board with the correct columns, workflow, filters etc. It has the correct issue types, it has the added components that I need as well. The whole project is set up exactly how I need to set up all future projects.
When I create a new project is there a way to literally clone everything from the previously made project to a new project (board, columns, quick filters, components, issue types, etc)? Keep in mind I don't want the board to share the same issues. If there is an issue in 1 project that issue should not be in the other project. The share settings with an existing project doesn't clone everything that I need.
Hi @tim.allen
Do you already have ScriptRunner installed? They have a built-in script for copying projects that we are using. We have two template projects set up with different configurations so when you use this script, you can choose which project you would like to use as the base.
