Creating an issue from e-mail in specific project

Hi,

My organisation has multiple projects managed via JIRA. We recently configured the mail handler for Outlook e-mails.

What we would like to know if it is possible to somehow tag an e-mail; perhaps project name in the subject or something in the content, that will create an issue within a specific project?

Hi Andrew,

I believe JIRA handler cannot provide you this dymamic project mapping.

However, Cloud addons like JEMH (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.javahollic.jira.jemh-ui/cloud/overview) has this.

Our addon Email This Issue (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.metainf.jira.plugin.emailissue/cloud/overview) has its own handler as well on JIRA Server with the feature you seek. Our Cloud Mail Handler will be released soon..
