Creating multiple email groups for client release notes

We are trying to automate the process of releasing the client release notes to our internal product teams and the customers, using the Automated Release Notes add-on.

Under the manual release notification > Send Email; there is a field to enter the recipients.

Is it possible to create a group in Jira and enter the group name in this field?

Also, we look to have different internal as well as external groups.
