Creating sprints does not allow to enter start and end date

I want to create the sprints upfront for my Portfolio For Jira plan, but when I - in the projects - create the sprints, I can only provide a name and a sprint goal.

How can I enter the start and end dates ?

If you're trying to edit the sprint start and end dates for future sprints (from the board view) then that isn't possible right now. You can only set start and end dates for active sprints.

You can watch/vote for the suggestion to enhance this here: JSWCLOUD-7740

You can still get some views of this based on forward planning in Portfolio which takes into account capacity vs sprints - but it's based on a base sprint length as opposed to specified dates.
