Hi,
I am trying to setup 2 project. 1 for help desk and 1 for project management. The things I need to do now are:
1. How to create an issues under task in Project Management? (An issues under a task - similar to sub-task but is a issues)
2. How can the creating an issues in Project Management generate a ticket in help desk automatically? (Besides creating a linked issues)
3. How can the issues/sub-task in Project Management change to done automatically when help desk change the status to done/complete/resolve? (Not the linked issues it self)
Thanks for helping
Hi Jacky,
we are doing the exact same thing the other way around.
If a new helpdesk ticket was created, a new project management ticket will be created (and linked) automatically.
Every Status change will be synchronised bi-directional.
For this we are using automation for jira.
This Plugin allows you to easily create such rules.
Additionally you can synchronise comments and attachments.
If you want further information about our way, please feel free to contact me.
Best Regards
Lars

HI @Jacky Wong
Welcome to the community!
How to create an issues under task in Project Management? (An issues under a task - similar to sub-task but is a issues)
If you want to create an issue under the Task then create a new subtask issue type use it anyhow it is similar to Subtask only.
How can the creating an issues in Project Management generate a ticket in help desk automatically? (Besides creating a linked issues)
For this you need to Use the Third party add-ons like Script Runner, Power script using which you can achieve this.
How can the issues/sub-task in Project Management change to done automatically when help desk change the status to done/complete/resolve? (Not the linked issues it self)
If the Helpdesk issues are linked with Project Management then using the script you can check the linked issue status and accordingly you can move your project management ticket status to done.
