Is there a way to create a bunch of JIRA (on JIRA Server) cards from Confluence?
At the moment we are limited to the 'create multiple issues from table' option.
But this only allows us to import the Summary and Description fields. Our users would like to update more fields than this, such as assignee, fixversion, epic, etc.
Is there an API connection that will push the additional fields into the cards once they are created (or during the creation process?)
Casey,
The current Confluence to JIRA plugin provided by Atlassian only allows for summary and description. There are several requests like this one to Atlassian to expand the features of this plugin https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-34024
I don't know of any other plugins that can do what you are asking at this time.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Sigh. I would say "I am at a loss for words" but unfortunately my frustration with using JIRA and Confluence has generated a lot of regret.
How can such a simple request do the following
1. Not have a solution
2. Still be 'Unanswered' after 4 years?
3. Not have any add-on solutions?
4. Be such a difficult thing to develop?
Really on a daily basis I encounter some limitation that seems so simple to resolve, and yet Atlassian seems to ignore the communities needs.
