Hi Team,
We are planning for Jira application upgradation from 7.6.2 to 8.20.1 and
Confluence is having 7.4.13 version -
Both applications are using Crowd 2.7.2.
so we need complete recommendations from Atlassian support team.
1) from which version is supported by Atlassian
2) if Jira upgraded to 8.20.1 what should be the crowd version.
3) Confluence current version is 7.4.13
4) what should be crowd version if we are upgrading Jira 8.20.1 and confluence
7.4.13
5) which database crowd is using and what should be the database version if we
are using crowd 3.5 x version or 4.4 version
6) what are the new features we are having with latest crowd versions.
7) Impact of crowd Upgradation on current or upgraded Jira version
8) Impact of crowd Upgradation on current Confluence version
9) Do we need to take any concerns of crowd application which is syncing with
LDAP

For Confluence version 3.5 and above the Crowd version should be - 2.1 or Later
Jira Version Jira 4.3 or later the Crowd version Should be - 2.1 or later
As per this - In your case the current version of your Crowd i.e. 2.7 would be fine after jira and confluence upgradation
For Crowd 3.5 DB - Refer this
For Crowd 4.4 DB - Refer this
For Feature after upgrade - Refer this Release Notes
There is no impact Impact of crowd Upgradation on current or upgraded Jira and confluence version
Do we need to take any concerns of crowd application which is syncing with
LDAP - No
Just go through the Upgrade Notes of Crowd instance of version you are planning to upgrade
